NATIONAL CONSULTATION ON CHILDREN'S WORLD CONGRESS
Child laborers and former child laborers from various parts of the country gathered in Manila for the Philippine National Consultation on the Children's World Congress on Child Labor last September 26-28, 2003 in Fabella Compound, Mandaluyong City. Eighteen children from the Visayas, Mindanao and Luzon, and from different work backgrounds, came to discuss issues about child labor and children's rights, and to evaluate programs on child labor.

STUDENT VOLUNTEERS HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Around 20 volunteers from the San Beda National Student Training Program (NSTP) facilitated games and prizes for more than 500 children, youth and parents from Pandacan community in Manila. The student volunteers assisted the Visayan Forum staff in providing recreational activities and giveaways for the BBK members' Christmas Party held last December 20, 2003.
