a high-profile campaign from June to December 2005in five identified TIP Hotspots, inlcuding Dumaguete, Leyte, Zamboanga, Davao and Manila.

A social mobilization and skills training campaign consisting of well-focused, coordinated and high-profile activities in the identified TIP hotspots to raise the level of awareness of the community, especially the potential victims of trafficking, to the dangers of trafficking, capacity building for enforcers and prosecutors and institutionalization of local TIP initiatives through the local IACAT. It will be conducted in coordination with IACAT, Multi-Sectoral Network Against Traffciking in Persons (MSNATP) and concerned local government units. The activities in each hotspot will last for three days and will involve the local government agencies and NGOs engaged in the prevention of trafficking.

On May 26, 2005, the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking will also launch ints anti-trafficking initiatives that will coincide with the second anniversary of the enactment of the "Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003).
