Anti-child labor law inaarbor ng film outfit

Kaalinsabay ng espekulasyong inaarbor ng isang higanteng film outfit, hinikayat ng liderato ng Senado si Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo na lagdaan ang anti-child labor law na nakabinbin sa tanggapan nito.

Mismong kaalyado ni Arroyo, sa pangunguna nina Senate President Franklin Drilon at Sen. Robert Jaworski Sr. ang nakiusap sa Malaca�ang na madaliin ang pag-apruba sa anti-child labor law na pinagtibay ng dalawang kapulungan ng Kongreso.

Anila, kung hindi lalagdaan ni Arroyo ang anti-child labor law, posibleng lumakas ang espekulasyong hindi interesado ang kasalukuyang administrasyon na puksain ang talamak as child labor sa Pilipinas. Labis namang ikinagulat ni Drilon ang alegasyong may isang kilalang film company ang sikretong kumikilos upang ma-veto ang naturang batas na pinagtibay ng Kongreso noong Oktubre 27. Sa impormasyong nakalap ng TONITE, malaking kawalan umano sa kita at posibleng makasuhan ang naturang kumpanya dahil karamihan sa mga alagang artista ay pawang kabataan o menor de edad. (Rey Marfil)
