This includes victims of trafficking, domestic workers, and people living in urban and rural poor communities. Through VF Enterprises, these women and children are provided the chance to earn an income, through applying learned and existing skills.
VF Enterprises began in mid 2008, and currently has two projects:
The provision of income generating opportunities by VF Enterprises complements the services that Visayan Forum Foundation Inc offers which includes shelter, counselling, legal assistance, and life-skills training, among others. Being able to earn an income is seen as a necessary step in the rehabilitation of those that have been abused and mistreated. It allows victims of trafficking to save for their eventual repatriation back to their home which they can use starting their own business or for their daily expenses. It also provides domestic workers and the urban and rural poor a much needed additional source of income. Most importantly, it adds to the personal growth of the individual and their communities.

Wilhelmina Garcia Page Wilhemina S. Garcia is VF Enterprises’ primary product developer and designer and has been instrumental in starting our projects. Notably, “Willie” was the grand prize winner of the Metrobank Arts and Design Excellence 2007 Award. She was commended for showcasing various materials usually regarded as trash, waste, or worn-out pieces and developing them into functional, innovative and tasteful furniture and accent pieces for the home. Wilhelmina is an established interior designer, and current and completed projects include a diverse array of residential, commercial and retail projects.
