Help victims of human trafficking reclaim their lives!

VISAYAN FORUM FOUNDATION, INC. (VF) aims to instill the spirit of service and promote volunteerism among young people. Volunteerism is the driving force behind the success and vitality of our organization. Combating human trafficking is a difficult challenge but it could be a lot easier with the help of volunteers. That’s why we need you!



We place our volunteers in service areas where they can have an impact on efforts to eradicate human trafficking. We are committed to maintaining diversity from our volunteers those individuals from all walks of life are encourage to participate. For us, volunteering is a two-way process. We learn from you and you learn from us. We give volunteers the opportunity to become genuine catalysts of change.

Your passion and commitment will always be treasured. We can only reward your priceless contribution with our sincere guidance and caring, in a nurturing atmosphere of trust and respect, throughout your brief stay with us and even beyond. We hope to develop a lasting bond of partnership between you and VF

A Volunteer is:

  • Physically, emotionally and mentally capable to immerse in volunteer work
  • At least 15 years old (a parent’s consent is required for volunteers below 18 years old)
  • Preferably  a part of an institution, school or organization
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills and willing to share his/her skills with others
  • Flexible, demonstrates the capacity to work as part of a team  and believes in servant leadership
  • Driven, lives with integrity and is passionate about creating positive change today! 


How to volunteer:        

  • Coordinate with Ms. Malaya F. Oebanda, Social Partnership Manager, or Ms. Cara Tizon, Social Partnership Officer, through volunteer@visayan forum.org/[email protected] or call (632) 709 0711
  • Submit all the necessary documents such as letter of intent to volunteer, volunteer placement application form and an updated resume with a 2 x 2 photo.

VF Needs Volunteers for:

  • Education and Skills Training. Volunteers conduct regular academic tutorials and classes on theater and the performing arts, music and arts and crafts. They also help encourage learning by developing creative educational curriculums for advanced technology and life skills training. Volunteers also conduct activities such as exhibits and public forums which help raise awareness and help mobilize other young people to help combat human trafficking.
  • Research. Volunteers participate in research activities that address specific data gaps on topics such as migration and development, trends and dynamics of human trafficking, slavery, and involuntary servitude, protecting vulnerable communities against disasters and trafficking
  • Communications. Volunteers help conceptualize and develop communication and education materials, and materials on organizational branding, training and development.
  • Integrative  Services. Volunteers help and assist the organization’s social workers in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the healing and reintegration program for the victims of human trafficking, abused domestic workers, and the children and their families in urban poor communities.
