TRAFFICKING

The new law that punishes trafficking as a crime will only be as good as its implementation. The Multi-Sectoral Network Against Trafficking is a national network committed to provide immediate and appropriate response mechanisms to prevent trafficking, investigate and prosecute offenders, and protect, rescue, recover and reintegrate victims, especially women and children.

The challenge is to implement a comprehensive set of strategies that will also complement the national strategy to be developed by the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking. Members and partners of this loose network unite their actions by focusing on core areas of coordination.
