FOR COMMUNITIES AND PEOPLE'S ORGANIZATIONS
We ask communities and people's organizations to consider the following actions, and in so doing, contribute to preventive efforts on a social scale.
- Mobilize and set up mechanisms to prevent children from going into hazardous circumstances, such as community child-watch systems.
- Influence policies at the level of the barangay and other local government units.
- Develop credibility so as to gain greater access to government services.
- Encourage the organized participation of children in your own localities.
- Register child domestic workers at the community level.
