| CASE STORIES Working for Debts
Chesa's employers have been good to her. They granted her every request everytime
she advanced for her salaries because her parents always depended on her to buy
rice, medicine and school supplies of her siblings. After three years, her debt
amounted to more than P25,000 (USD500). She could not leave anymore until a group
helped her negotiate that she will be religiously repaying all by finding another
