To help curb trafficking in major transit areas within the country, VF spearheaded the formation of national and regional task forces. A new anti-trafficking law enables an environment to unleash the creative roles of NGOs to work hand in hand with mandated government agencies. The Multisectoral Network Against Trafficking envisions a society free from trafficking in persons, especially women and children, where our people can enjoy the fullness of life.

Mission

Multisectoral Network Against Trafficking is committed to provide effective and immediate response mechanisms in the areas of prevention of trafficking, prosecution of offenders, and protection, rescue, recovery and reintegration of trafficked persons.

Goals

  • Provide effective, sensitive, and systematic direct services in cases of trafficking.
  • Expand and maximize the involvement of various sectors especially civil society, in trafficking activities through improved and sustained networking and policy advocacy efforts.
  • Build the capacities of partner agencies from civil society and government sector in the implementation and monitoring of the anti-trafficking law.
  • Address the root causes of trafficking in persons and work towards the development of long-term solutions.
