The Phenomenon of CDW in Asia PDF Download is among the most popular background papers quoted in many international studies. A Handbook for Action Research on CDWs written by ASI and its partners provides useful tools and conceptual framework in doing research among these invisible children. Helping Hands or Shackled Lives The ILO report entitled, "Helping Hands or Shackled Lives?: Understanding Child Domestic Labour and Responses to It" throws light on the phenomenon of child domestic labour, and on the actions that are being taken to respond to it. It brings together the latest research undertaken by the ILO's International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC) and work done by other organizations in the field. It includes a number of case studies drawn from ILO-IPEC field work, and suggests possible future actions to be taken at all levels and by different players: governments, labour sector partners and NGOs.
